The Liberty Crisis

Bruce G. Siminoff –

Nothing is more precious than liberty. While the words of our founding fathers still remain, many of their insightful and hard-won protections have been slowly, yet continually eroded through the pressures of special interest groups, the ignorance or indifference of our elected officials, the federal courts, and the fifth estate, our unelected bureaucracy. In many ways we have circled back nearly two hundred and twenty years to the point of inspiration of the American Revolution. Siminoff shows that some of the same issues are haunting us once again.

The Liberty Crisis belongs to no political spectrum. It is not a book written for Democrats, Republicans, or Libertarians. The abuses have sapped our economy, contributed to the loss of jobs, and caused business to move out of the United States. It has created a climate where government views those in the regulated community as the “enemy.”

The Liberty Crisis shows the depth of the problem and offers solutions that cannot come from existing laws, law makers, or courts, but must come from grassroots efforts of a concerned citizenry.

“Siminoff shows how Congress has abdicated its authority to these over-zealous bureaucrats who have slowly undermined our cherished freedoms, resulting in challenges to our traditions of due process and fair play.” John Galandak, President of the Foundation for Free Enterprise

The Liberty Crisis belongs to no political spectrum. Rather, the dilemma cuts across party lines and touches all of us. No one, whether in business, active or retired, is immune from the negative effects of overregulation.” John P. Scott, Senator, 36th District, New Jersey
